Le Matin Patisserie opens at ION Orchard

There can never be enough pastries and desserts to satisfy our food-loving city. After a successful run with pop-up stores along Paragon and Raeburn Park, the French-inspired Le Matin Patisserie finds a permanent home at the snazzy ION Orchard.

Conveniently located in the heart of Singapore, the gourmet concept presents an artisanal menu of all-day French dining on top of their signature fine pastries at the new establishment.

Founded by Singaporean Chef-Owner Mohamed Al-Matin, the patisserie aims to bring about a new dawn, serving up an ever-evolving menu of unique pastries made with the most exciting ingredients from around the world.

Unveiling their biggest menu yet, fans can look forward to brand new pastry creations like Roasted Hay & Pecan Tart, Kombu Tart, a beautiful Korean White Peach, as well as a Sake Lees & Macadamia Choux Bun. Returning highlights from Le Matin’s previous incarnations include their Almond Croissant, Pistachio & Rose Escargot, Smoked Cruffin, and Chef Al-Matin’s signature Kouign Amann.

Diners also get to enjoy never-before-served hot mains that transport us to France with one-of-a-kind flavours. On the brunch menu are indulgent highlights such as the Wagyu Brioche Feuilletée and Chutoro Brioche Feuilletée, an Ox Tongue & Bresaola Croque Monsieur, Seafood Pot Pie, or go for more vibrant options of Crab, Caviar & Waffles, Smoked Beef Cheek Bahn Mi with laminated brioche, and Black Truffle Scrambled Eggs Croissant.

Expect hearty offerings on their dinner menu that’ll satisfy your palate and appetite. Go for the Steak Tartare with hand-cut raw heart of rump and Wagyu tallow, or have the Tarte Tatin de Topinambour for a lighter, meat-free bite. Seafood lovers will want to try their Moules Marinières with white wine-poached blue mussels and Vivaneau Rogue Poêlé that sears fresh red snapper with a rum sauce. Alternatively, dig into the Poulet à L’orzo, Truffe et Champignons, a juicy roasted free-range chicken leg on a bed of truffle mushroom orzo.

From amongst their array of French treats and desserts available, wrap up your meal with stars like the Fromage de vos Reves, Tarte Aux Noix de Cajou with cashew custard and nougatine, and a jazzed up Pain Perdu.

Serious coffee drinkers are not left out as well: in collaboration with Nylon Coffee Roasters, all coffee beverages at Le Matin uses an exclusively created Le Soleil blend made with single-origin El Huerta beans from Nicaragua and El Puente beans from Honduras.
