Part of the Garibaldi group of restaurants, Ricciotti serves, like it always has, reliable Italian deli selections and pastries. It’s been around for ages, and when we popped by on a weekday evening, it was still nicely filled out. The homely, unpretentious interior always makes for a good setting, as does the display counter showcasing a wonderful array of Ricciotti’s stunning desserts.

We had panzerotti, suppli and the granchio e rucola crabmeat pizza. It was the service we were most impressed with. Jesna, the restaurant manager, immediately joined a table together with ours when our pizza arrived so we could have more space. The impeccable service kept up throughout the meal—the staff were smiley, intuitive but never intrusive, and had good knowledge of their food.

While the snacks were a little dry for our taste, the pizza had a nice succulence to it. The soffiato for dessert was tremendous and did not disappoint. The preziosa was beautifully presented. All in all, it was a pleasant meal spent in the company of great wait staff.
