Singapore Art Week isn't just about contemporary and modern art. Though events like Art Stage aren't short on glamour, we also like indulging our inner nerds at exhibitions like Secrets of the Fallen Pagoda at the Asian Civilisations Museum. As Art Week takes place, we've been to see ArtSpace @ Helutrans, taking a look at the spaces by Galerie Steph, Ikkan Art Gallery in collaboration with Neo Folk 2, Redot Fine Art Gallery and Richard Koh Fine Art. The showcases here are vibrant, with a lot of color and texture in the art works, from Neo Folk 2’s curated contemporary pieces to Nadiah Bamadhaj’s large charcoal on paper collages.
