Ryan’s Kitchen

Aussie-style cafe serving quality produce from Ryan’s Grocery

Expanding beyond the confines of Bukit Timah is gourmet speciality foods store Ryan’s Grocery, with the opening of its second and flagship outlet at Great World. The 4,000 sq ft space comfortably encompasses both Australian-style cafe Ryan’s Kitchen, as well as the grocery store itself.

To dine-in, settle into the 40-seater spot and peruse their menu of Western mains. They’ve got plenty of healthier alternatives which utilise sustainable and quality produce from its grocery store, like the Crispy Pork Belly Nuggets with Jamworks’ BBQ relish ($12) and Five Founders Carbon Neutral Certified Beef OP Rib ($148). The latter is a generous one kilogram slab of bone-in ribeye prepared medium rare, perfect for large groups. Or try their Pick & Grill service, where you may select preferred cuts or housemade cured meats and sausages to be cooked at a nominal fee.

Once you’re done feasting, head into the adjoining grocery store that includes a sizable butchery offering a variety of steak cuts, beef patties, minced meats and sausages. There’s even a large dry-ageing cabinet within the space.

Then move further into Ryan’s Grocery to check out the fresh vegetable cold room for organic greens, or even a dairy alternatives section. And pick up popular gluten-free, preservative-free, and allergen-free snacks by the cash register too. Plus, if you fancy baked goods, take home sesame bagels or Hokkaido milk bread available from their bread counter.

Each complementing one another, Ryan’s Grocery and Ryan’s Kitchen make a fine spot to dine and shop sustainable produce. Just indulge in their chef-prepared meals before taking their meats and ingredients home to recreate your own dishes.
