Comfortable, fuss-free airport hotel at Jewel Changi Airport
Modern architectural marvel Jewel Changi Airport houses many restaurants, shops and bars, but the only hotel within it is the air travel-themed YotelAir Singapore, the second landside property at the airport after Crowne Plaza at Terminal 3.
It makes for a convenient and easy stay option, both for travellers awaiting long stopovers, and guests hoping to explore Changi Airport (especially with what Jewel has to offer) as its own attraction.
All of its 130 rooms are small, but has everything you need—plush adjustable bed (one of the most comfortable around), mood lighting, Smart TV, fully-equipped washroom with rain shower, you name it. Choose from Premium Queen Cabins that sleep two, or Family Cabins if up to four people are bunking together. There is also a third Accessible Cabins category suitable for those on wheelchairs.
Premium Queen Cabins
Rooms aren’t expensive and are available per night, or at a minimum of a four-hour block, which is a unique offering great for those with extended layovers. You can lengthen your stay in two-hour blocks too, just in case your flight gets delayed.
Checking in is a breeze. Step up to the counter if you’d like to do so conventionally, or follow the instructions at the self check-in kiosks and receive your key cards without having to interact with anyone. Just note that the hotel has no road-side access, meaning you have to traverse the Jewel complex to reach its main entrance. The easiest way is to take a lift up to level four via Lobby H then take a short stroll over.
For amenities, there may be no swimming pool, but a fully-equipped gym is there so there’s no reason to miss out on your workout routine. A very simple breakfast is served at Komyuniti, which offers a nice view of Jewel’s Rain Vortex from afar.
