Loof presents The Reflex
This edition of The Reflex features London-based DJ Nicolas Laugier, known for using only original analog tracks for his mixes. Expect a night of classics with remixes of hits by 80s superstars like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder.
Pops of the Top
Local veteran DJs Jinmart (of Zouk Poptart) and KiDG helm the decks. Jinmart has played alongside indie outfits like Bombay Bicycle Club and The Smashing Pumpkins while KiDG has played at venues like Wonderbar (The Sultan Hotel), Life Is Beautiful Kitchen & Bar and The Vault (that latter two now closed).
Jedd Novatt Solo Exhibition
American sculptor Jedd Novatt’s solo exhibition features large sculptures as well as smaller scale works and collages, largely made of stainless steel and bronze. Novatt’s unique works play with scale and gravity, with pieces that retain their structure but are seemingly also on the verge of collapse.
Clarke Quay presents Once Upon a Nightmare
Hosted by 987FM DJs Justin Ang and Vernon A, this year’s Halloween party at Clarke Quay features live band performances, stage games and a chance to win up to $200 worth of dining vouchers if you come decked out in costume. There’s also complimentary entry to clubs in the area and lots of drink promos.
Whodunit at the Rabbit Hole
The White Rabbit pays homage to some of history’s greatest sleuths this Halloween and guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite crime-busters, be it Sherlock Holmes, Magnum P.I or even the Scooby-Doo gang. There are prizes up for grabs for best-dressed crime-busters, including staycations at Bali’s luxury resort The Santai Umalas or Wanderlust Hotel Singapore.

There’s American musician and multi-instrumentalist St Vincent, Swedish dance anthem machine Lykke Li, synthpop band Future Islands, Swedish electronic musicians Little Dragon and breakout girl-wonder FWA Twigs, among other acts.
