Next up on the Ultra trail is Ultra Japan, returning to Tokyo’s Odaiba Park for its sixth edition, from Sep 14-15. The complete line-up, crammed with EDM heavyweights, has just been announced; although after the recent close encounter with disaster in Singapore, Ultra Japan-goers might want to keep their fingers crossed and hope the festival organisers set up the outdoor stage weeks before the event, with adequate time to spare.
But at least the set lists and timings have been confirmed.
Party in the central entertainment hub with mainstage chart-topping DJs such as Paris-based DJ Snake (Turn Down for What, Taki Taki), Dutch DJ and producer Afrojack (Lost, Ten Feet Tall) and massive charter Japanese-American Steve Aoki (Just Hold On, All Night). Even if you’re not an avid EDM-follower, sounds from the mainstage will be sure to ring a bell and have you raving till nightfall. Shuttle between the Mainstage and the Ultra Park Stage; where a large portion of the lineup spotlights Japanese dance masters like DMC World DJ finalist Kentaro, Sapporo’s house, club and dance producer Daishi Dance, Shibuya-spinner Natsumi and hip-hop/rap mixes by DJ Ayana.
So you know where to go if you’re still looking to satiate your outdoor-Ultra needs.
