There’s lots to be excited for at the upcoming Jewel Changi Airport. We already know of New York’s Shake Shack and crowd favourite A&W planting permanent homes there, and now, London’s famed Burger & Lobster will join the fray.
Jewel is set to open the first half of this year, and Burger & Lobster along with it. It will be a 81-seater luxury eatery located on the top most floor of Jewel within Canopy Park, where the 40-metre high Rain Vortex, set to be the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, will be in full view. Inside the restaurant, expect a modern design filled with lush greenery, plus live lobster (flown in from Nova Scotia, Canada) tanks set all around to let you know that your meals are as fresh as they come.
On the core menu are its well-known lobster rolls, of course, as well as its famed prime burger (using beef from cattle ranchers in Nebraska) and a seasonal selection inspired by local flavours and ingredients available here during that period.
With nine sites in London, two in New York and a further four in Bangkok, Dubai, Genting and Kuwait City, Singapore’s launch is part of the London chain’s Asian expansion plans. This means we’ll probably see more Burger & Lobster joints here and in the region in time to come.
