Modern-casual Italian dining concept The Cliff joins Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa’s dining portfolio, with the promise of good views and better food.
The 190-seater restaurant may not be perched on a cliff, but it does offer a stunning view of the South China Sea. To match, the adjoining bar and lounge also feature picture-perfect spaces that make the place ideal for holding your next luncheon, family gathering, and even wedding.
For the eats, Chef de Cuisine Simone Fraternali injects his own memories of growing up along the Northeastern coast of Italy into a menu of modern and rustic Italian dishes. Indulge in the Grilled Octopus with Orange Potato and Salmoriglio ($23), or the Spaghetti “alla Chitarra” with Smoky Lobster ($42). For something more classically Italian, there’s the Beef Cheek Tortelli with Grana Padano Cream and Red Wine Sauce ($30) and the Fior di Latte Cheese, Mascarpone and Truffle Cream Pizza ($32)—beautiful takes on pasta and pizza respectively.
As an added treat, The Cliff presents a family-style Prosecco Brunch every first and third Sat of the month. Splurge on shared platters, gourmet meats and seafood, and enjoy complimentary flow of premium prosecco. Else, signature drinks like Aperol Spritz and the Mediterranean Gin & Tonic should suffice.
