Tucked away in a nook far enough from Orchard Road but still handily central is AccorHotels’ integrated lifestyle hub—Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens. The two hotels function separately, but are conveniently joined via the elevator lobby, should guests want to meander over to check things out.
In total, the complex features 772 guest rooms, of which Novotel boasts 254 and Mercure 518. A superior room night stay at Novotel goes for $208 (breakfast for two included), while a stay at Mercure is $155 a night (breakfast included). If you’re feeling restless, take a dip in either the infinity pool at Novotel or the 35-meter lap pool at Mercure.
As for food, guests (and residents in the area) have a whopping 14 dining options to choose from; Novotel’s three main outlets include L’Aperitif Tapas Bar, Food Exchange (for Thai, Indian, European and Singaporean cuisine) and the Novotel Infinity Pool. Hop over to Mercure for gourmet cafe Fudebar, which serves superfoods and sandwiches, and Winestone restaurant for Mediterranean food. An additional nine dining “pods” spread across the complex offers local and international cuisines.
