Yardbird’s head chef will be flipping burgers at Park Bench Deli this Sunday

If you’re a fan of casual dining grub, then you’ll know that the guys behind Park Bench Deli, the CBD corner store that’s home to some of Singapore's well-loved sandwiches, have been doing some great things since they set up shop in Telok Ayer. Besides whipping up signature sandwiches, they've been busy teaming up with other establishments from Singapore and the region for special pop-ups to bring you one-day-only menus of hearty, artery-clogging grub.

It’s been a while since they held one, probably because they’ve been choked up with launching their second brainchild and dining concept, <a href="http://sg.asia-city.com/restaurants/news/park-bench-deli-takes-over-dail… target="_blank">1KS, over at Keong Saik. But now that that’s up and running, they’re bringing back Rosita's Deluxe for its fifth pop-up this Sunday (Oct 8).

It’s gonna get real messy, so expect a juice-dripping, lip-smacking and booze-guzzling good time as Jeff Claudio, head chef of Hong Kong's popular yakitori restaurant Yardbird, flips his epic signature cheese burgers in Park Bench Deli’s kitchen once again. Deceptively simple, these thick, juicy gourmet burgers are grilled to perfection and liberally topped with oozing cheese, onions, pickles, yellow mustard and ketchup ($15 for a single patty, $20 for a double if you’re feeling peckish).

Meanwhile, on drinks duty is Elliot Faber, beverage director of Yardbird, Sunday's Grocery, Ronin and Sake Central (all in Hong Kong), who will be offering a selection of sake and whisky highballs.

But if you rather stay in and bury yourself under the blankets to catch this season’s returning TV shows, you can still get in on the action because the menu will be available via Deliveroo.
