Those tired of loud and raucous clubbing experiences can look to Lulu’s Lounge for respite. In a major departure from the over-the-top Champagne bottle sparklers, dizzying strobe lights and deafening sound systems afforded at other nightlife spots, this new entry by SJS Group—of Pangaea and Bang Bang fame—in partnership with The Privé Group, promises to be a more refined venue.
It will take on a 1960s New York back alley club theme—imagine flickering neon signage and vintage-modern furnishings—more suited for a classy night out with a classic cocktail or wine in hand. Bottle service is available, but presented with less flair and more elegance. Guests can jive to an eclectic mix of sounds that range from live acoustics to retro DJ performances. For instance, Wednesdays are boogie nights while Fridays will see golden era hip hop and R&B make a comeback on the dancefloor.
The best part? They promise the lounge will be suitable for chillout sessions where you don’t need to shout over the music in order to hear your friend speak. We are especially eyeing the alfresco garden area decked with fairy lights.
