Brand new to Zouk and its long-awaited Clarke Quay space is an Asian-fusion bar concept. Red Tail is decked with a tropical-industrial look, all bare concrete with spare foliage painted on and pops of red.
Craft beers and spirits aside, there’s a cocktail list whose sections are named after famous neighborhoods in Asian cities like Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong (lots of botanical and fruity concoctions here) and the Row in KL. Drinks range from $18-25. On the food front are fusion bar bites like Scotch century eggs ($9), rou bing bao (served in an English muffin with provolone cheese, $17) and pizzas.
