The gastro wine bar over at Kampong Glam is bringing all their wine and food offerings to Killiney Road, with a second outlet that’ll add on the row of shophouses that’s known for its variety of local foodfare.
Here, you’ll find an eight-meter long mosaic bar, a wine room for all your private tasting needs and more European dish and wine pairings. Much like its first outlet, you can indulge in a variety of bar bites and mains such as the Iberico pizza ($22), which comes with 50 grams of cured Iberico ham, Geoffrey Weckx’s Belgium fries ($8) that are fried in beef fat and served with home-made mayonnaise and cocktail, the tomato tatins ($23), made with confit tomatoes, roasted pine nuts, Burrata cheese, basil and balsamic reduction, and more. As usual, there’s also a pretty extensive selection of affordable wines from countries like Australia, France, Italy and Spain, curated by owner Bruno Vaillant, such as the Dominique Portet ($97) and Domaine De Cambes ($140).
