So far it’s been the National Gallery sweeping up the foodie laurels with all their high profile restaurants. But looks like National Museum is falling in line, too, with a hot new opening of their own. Come August, they’re opening a new restaurant with pastry chef and local darling Janice Wong, of Holland Village’s 2am:dessertbar fame.
But if you’re expecting another outlet showcasing her famous molecular desserts, think again. This time, the menu focuses on dim sum and noodle dishes, with a progressive twist. According to The Straits Times, she has decided to expand from her expertise in sweet treats as “Singapore diners have not experienced this side of me.”
The 1,500 sq ft. restaurant is her fourth dine-in venture—Wong also has outposts in Tokyo and Hong Kong, on top of her Holland Village flagship.
