A one-person serving of their paella of the day—it alternates among options like a standard seafood version with prawns, fish, black mussels, chicken and chorizo; or the black paella with squid ink, prawns, squid and a side of aioli—served from noon to 2pm, is just $10. Boat Quay has some of the best options for beer lovers, and that continues during the enhancement phase. If you need an alternative happy hour option, head over to Dallas. During weekdays from 5-6pm, half-pints of Stella and San Miguel are $5 and pints are $10. Enoteca L’Operetta
If it’s all about a special night out with fine food and wine, Boat Quay has that, too, and one solid option is this beloved Italian restaurant. Trained in Piedmont, Chef Takashi Ohkawa serves up dishes like paccheri pasta with mixed seafood in a curry cream sauce; grilled tilefish with black rice salad and saffron sauce and other goodies.
