Famous Hakata-style ramen joint Ippudo is showing no signs of slowing down, opening new branches left, right and center. We’re partial to the flagship at Mandarin Gallery, a smart 76-seat space with the brand’s modern red, white and black color scheme. On the menu are rich, warming bowls of noodles such as shiromaru motoaji—featuring their classic tonkotsu broth—as well as karaka-men, spicy noodle soup.
