Recovering from Singapore Art Week, or glad that it’s over? There’s always lots to do apart from oohing and aahing at local art. There are a few music showcases, new bars and restaurants to check out, and tastings paired with craft beer, too.

ART
Check out the K+ curatorial space to see Keng Lye’s Alive Without Breath II: Creature Comforts exhibition, in which the painter renders hyper-realistic goldfish and guppies in lovely but claustrophobic bowls and jars.

MUSIC
Canadian sound artist Crys Cole and indie synth musician duo Yuen Chee Wai & Vivian Wang (who are both members of avant rock group The Observatory) collaborate in the cc vvv showcase. Expect to hear synth music created from everyday objects.

SHOPPING
