Save a stranger by dining at Strangers’ Reunion

Specialty coffee shop and cafe Strangers’ Reunion (35 Kampong Bahru Rd.) is launching a Save-A-Stranger campaign today to support the cafe’s 26-year-old head chef, Sebastian, who has been diagnosed with stage four cancer recently. Unfortunately, according to the cafe’s Facebook post, he does not have the right insurance coverage to cover the costs of his treatments.

So instead of shutting its doors every Tuesday, the cafe, together with its other outfit, Curious Palette (64 Prinsep St.), will now be opened from 12-9pm and all proceeds from the initiative will go towards helping Sebastian. The cafes will remain open until they have raised sufficient funds for the cause.

For more information, you can either head to their Facebook or drop them an email at [email protected]. Did we mention they have great waffles?
