We’re cautiously excited about The Analog Vault which seems point to be a great option for the culture-starved, selling vinyl records, books and magazines. The store at the Esplanade Mall officially opens on Sep 3, but you can already shop for stuff curated by partners Vinylicious Records, books specialist The Arkhivist and magazine retailer Magpie Magazines.
There are new, pre-loved and rare records with genres ranging from rock, jazz, classical and world (look out for The Hunter by American singer-songwriter Jennifer Warnes) to hard-to-find book titles covering culture, art, lifestyle, music, design and travel, like And Justice for Art, a limited edition book on heavy metal album covers, with only 300 copies available world wide. Of course, for quality, you’ll have to shell out between $25 for $800 for vinyl records to $75 for coffee table books.
They don’t have a website (surprise, surprise) but you can keep tabs here.
