Happening Aug 14-16, this year’s Epicurean Market is going to be a big one.
First off, aside from the usual celebrity chef booths by the likes of Waku Ghin’s Tetsuya Wakuda, Daniel Boulud’s db Bistro and Mario Batali’s Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza, there are two newcomers adding to the mix.
There’s Wolfgang Puck’s soon-to-debut restaurant Spago, the celebrity chef’s flagship restaurant serving Californian cuisine, which takes over the physical space formerly occupied by The Cheese & Chocolate Bar on the 57th floor of the hotel’s Tower 2. Gordon Ramsay will also have a booth that serves British European dishes from Bread Street Kitchen, which is due to open in June at The Shoppes.
This year will also see the market’s first afterparty. You can continue to eat and drink until 1am when international DJs spin the decks, while select food booths continue to dish out snacks. There will also be a bar manned by both local cocktail bars, as well as celeb chef restaurants so you can sample cocktails from their respective menus, too. Plus, your Epicurean Market tickets guarantee your spot at the after parties.
As usual, you’ll also find over 20 wine merchants at the Wine Zone, as well as fresh produce, cheese and meats at the Fresh Food Market by the likes of Swiss Butchery and The Cheese Artisan.
A three-day pass goes for $28 and gets you entry to the fair and the after party.
