Buyan, Saha and the Taberna Wine Academy team up for a blind wine tasting event that interestingly includes bottles from award-winning Indian wineries. Swill and sip varietals from Grover Zampa and Sula wineries in a series of comparative tastings against wines from the rest of the world. Moderated by Taberna Wine Academy’s owner Tan Ying Hsien, you can expect a focus on white wines.
There’s also a wine pairing dinner ($160 for dinner only) at Saha with dishes like bake vegetable samosa triangles with chutney foam; Pashmina chicken kebab with saffron and cardamom sauce, toasted pistachio and micro greens; and Jaipur-style crispy okra with moong lentil khichri, coriander and mint.
