The highly acclaimed Rainforest World Music Festival is set to run from June 20 to 22 this year at the Sarawak Cultural Village in Borneo.
The three-day festival will feature a gamut of world musicians and ethnic music acts, including Blackbeard’s Tea Party from England, Dakhabrakha from Ukraine, Horomona Horo from New Zealand, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino from Italy and even Singapore’s own Ding Yi Music Company. There’ll also be workshops to attend when you’re not moshing in the pit.
Pre-sale tickets (till June 19) cost RM110 (S$42) for a one-day pass and RM300 (S$115) for a three-day pass—a small price to pay for so many great acts, if you ask us. Plus, it’s really easy to get to Sarawak, what with SilkAir, Tiger Airways and Airasia offering flights. Read more at the Rainforest World Music Festival website.
