This 200-room ski-in, ski-out resort in the spectacular mountain region of Niseko at the base of Mount An’nupuri, re-opened on 1 December 2013, after it was refurbished by award-winning New York-based Champalimaud Design.
The hotel is one of four resorts in the hotel collaborative Niseko United, which won the Best Ski Resort in Japan award, at the World Ski Awards 2013.
Inbetween skiing and snowboarding, guests can unwind in the natural onsen or at the resorts spa. Tomioka White lobby lounge features a fireplace and bar, while Goshiko has international and Japanese cuisine that makes the most of the local seafood and seasonal Hokkaido produce, both with mountain views.
Open for the ski season from December 1 to March 30 2014, room rates start at JPY20,000 ($243) per room.
