After calling Dempsey Hill home for five years, Tippling Club will be relocating late December to another dining enclave along Tanjong Pagar Road. Along with the move, chef-owner Ryan Clift will reveal the restaurant’s major transformation with brand new menus and décor, promising patrons a different dining experience.
The new location spans three shophouse units at 34, 36 and 38 Tanjong Pagar Road and will feature a bar, dining room, a wine room, and a private dining space upstairs.
The space will be designed by architect Alan Barr, founder and managing director of Singapore-based design firm greyMatters. “Tippling Club’s new interiors will retain its signature industrial-chic style, but will include the addition of natural wood accents and a palette of greens – a nostalgic nod to Tippling’s original location at 8D Dempsey,” says the native New Yorker.
Known for his spectacular feats of molecular gastronomy, chef Clift will continue to pair wacky culinary creations with world-class cocktails. However, do expect a few notable changes like customizable lunch menus in addition to tasting menus, an exclusive three-course pre-theater menu with a complimentary glass of wine (available from 6pm-8pm), and even more changes over at the bar, where both the cocktail and bar snack menus will be completely revamped. Additionally, a new category of cocktails will be offered starting at S$15++ (regular cocktails cost $19++ upwards).
Until the move, Tippling Club is still open for business at 8D Dempsey.
