First, there was AirBNB (which allows you to rent rooms worldwide) and now there’s MisterBNB, a new gay-friendly apartment rental portal by the team behind myGayTrip.com.
MisterBNB features rooms from all over the world owned by gay-friendly people who are happy to welcome gay travellers into their pads at prices generally cheaper than hotels (an apartment in Melbourne’s CBD will set you back around 63€ (S$105)).
Following the same basic concept as AirBNB, you can get to know your host prior to your visit (who knows, they might even show you the sights). At the moment though, most rooms are in Europe.
