The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has been known to invite only the world’s most talked-about musicians to heat up its various entertainment zones and this year is no different. As of now the lineup for the 2013 edition of the Singapore Grand Prix features the multiple award-winning Rihanna and Justin Bieber, Irish singer and songwriter Bob Geldof, as well as the two acts that have once eluded us—US alt-rock band The Killers and Tom Jones. Singer-songwriter Owl City have also been announced as a special guest for the closing concert.
Two acts—Rihanna (September 22) and The Killers (September 21)—will be performing at the 2013 F1 Singapore Grand Prix Padang Stage as part of their world tour, while Bob Geldof (September 21) and Tom Jones (September 22) will perform at the Village Stage. And for the first time in the history of the SGP, there’ll be a closing concert on Monday, September 23 headlined by Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and special guests Owl City.
Also part of the lineup are Afro-Parisian musician Daby Toure, tribal outfit Waiora, English illusionist Dynamo, homegrown acts The Sam Willows, Vocaluptuous and The Great Spy Experiment, plus much, much more.
Tickets to The Closing Concert are $98 for single and three-day race weekend ticket holders till August 31, after which the tickets will go for $148. The 2013 F1 Singapore Grand Prix tickets are available for $68-4,226.50 on the Singapore GP website.
