Budget carrier Tiger Airways will offer a thrice weekly service from Singapore to Kalibo (gateway to tropical island Boracay) with fares starting at S$224 return from July 18.
The airline’s new 3.5-hour flight to Kalibo is the only direct route of its kind by a low cost airline. Kalibo is the capital of the Aklan Province in western part of the Philippines. It provides easy access to nearby island Boracay, a popular destination with great beaches offering water sports, golfing and cliff diving activities.
