Mark your calendars folks. The Sentosa Resort & Spa is all set to play host to three-Michelin-starred chef Alain Passard from December 4-9.
Passard of acclaimed Parisian restaurant L’Arpège (ranked 16th in the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best List of Restaurants this year) will be cooking up a storm at various culinary events.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the week is a seven-course Duval-Leroy Champagne Pairing Welcome Dinner ($285) at The Cliff on December 4, featuring pairings such as “hot-cold” of egg, maple syrup and Xérès vinegar with Duval-Leroy Fleur de Champagne Brut Premier Cru, and roasted duckling with fig tree oil, beetroot cooked in grey salt crust with Duval-Leroy Cuvée 150 ans Vintage 1999.
Aside from seven- ($235) and eight-course ($250) dinners at The Cliff, there will also be a Sunday Champagne Brunch (from $166; $210 with free-flowing Champagnes and wines) at The Terrace on December 9 with dishes like lobster with sweet and sour dressing, turnip and rosemary, monkfish with matcha green tea and lemon caviar and candied tomatoes stuffed with twelve flavors. Plus, a live seafood station, pan-fried foie gras, outdoor barbecue, a cheese and charcuterie room, and desserts galore to round out the package.
If all that sounds a bit too indulgent for you, then pop by The Garden for a slightly lighter five-course lunch ($180) instead.
Foodies, take our advice and book yourself a spot pronto.
