The first urban location for the Banyan Tree group, Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund, opened on October 22 and is offering a Book the Second Night on Us Package through the end of February (inclusive of an extra nights’ stay and 30% spa discount) for nightly rates starting from RMB3,600 ($697).
The hotel has 130 rooms boasting stunning views of the Huangpu River and Pudong skyline. Plus, there are four food and beverage outlets: seafood specialist Oceans, Cantonese restaurant Ming Yuan, Banyan Lounge and rooftop bar Stars. Also on-site is a three-floor spa with traditional Chinese treatments involving hot stones and products like soya mint body scrub.
