Japanese lifestyle brand Muji’s fifth store opened last Friday, June 29, at popular Singapore heartland mall Tampines 1.
Part of Muji’s plan to enter Singapore’s neighborhood districts, this will be Muji’s first store out of the city—sprawling over 4,300 square feet. Muji will also be opening its sixth outlet in the Jurong vicinity in April 2013.
The new Muji store at Tampines 1 will feature a new “It Is Enough” concept—a store concept designed with sufficient lightings in conjunction with Tampines 1’s environmental efforts. The new store furnishing will also emphasize on natural materials such as wood and metal that focuses on simplicity.
