There’s been a real café movement taking place across Singapore and the impending arrival of Le Bon Vivant (#01-3625 Blk. 164 Bukit Merah Central, 6272-1338) on May 7 shows it’s not slowing down in the slightest.
When they’re in business, you can look forward to sandwiches such as roast beef with caramelized onions, cheese and sautéed mushrooms ($8) and smoked salmon with cream cheese ($8). Also on offer will be their fresh-baked goods including chocolate fudge cake ($4), lemon curd tarts ($4) and brownies ($3). Pair the treats with a piping hot cup of joe, made from Lavazza beans. A long black goes for $3.
