Art Stage Singapore announces its lineup of artists and galleries that are taking part at the event. To be held on January 12-16, 2011 at Marina Bay Sands, you can expect to see the works of the who’s who of contemporary Asian art during Asia’s new premier international art fair. Among the Asian artists that will be exhibiting include names such as Ai Weiwei, Cai Guoqiang, Chen Chieh-Jen, Subodh Gupta, Fx Harsono, Jia Aili, Jitish Kallat, Ronald Ventura and Geraldine Xavier.
You can also look forward to see solo presentations specially tailored for Art Stage Singapore from artists Yayoi Kusama and David LaChapelle among others.
Internationally renowned galleries that will be showing at Art Stage Singapore include Arario Gallery, Boers-Li Gallery, Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, Eslite Gallery, Galerie Michael Schultz, Nature Morte and Rossi & Rossi. All have been handpicked via a stringent selection process based on the fair’s cornerstone criteria of quality and the presentation of art in context.
