Simple and rustic, this shophouse eatery near Arab Street houses an eclectic mix of nostalgic antique furnishings. The food is Indonesian, Peranakan and Thai—try the tahu telor, fried fish with chili and beef rendang. The Bumbu salad’s combination of century eggs, onions, parsley, cashew nuts, lemon grass and fried spring onions may sound odd, but it’s tasty nonetheless.
