Launching Singapore’s hospitality industry to another new level, homegrown hospitality group Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) joins hands with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to launch their newest experience: the Merlin on Vacation adventure. A virtual attraction that marks STB’s groundbreaking step into the Metaverse.

A virtual journey that enables players to explore Singapore in the Metaverse, the adventure is spiced up with an array of prizes to be won as players explore the world Decentraland. In order to celebrate his 50th birthday this year, our Merlion has decided to embark on a vacation himself – players will search for clues to locate the Merlion after they are teleported to Decentraland.
At the virtual M Social Decentraland hotel, fit out with glass exteriors and neon pink accents, players get to engage in mini-games that feature Singapore’s iconic landmarks, including Orchard Road, Sungei Buloh, Gardens by the Bay, and Maxwell Food Centre. Completing the games will enter players into a raffle for hotel and F&B vouchers, exclusive merchandise, and a grand prize of a one-night stay at M Social Singapore itself!
Since the opening of M Social Decentraland in May earlier this year, MHR became the world’s first hotel group to operate a hotel in the Metaverse.
