The hedonistic 1980s in New York was filled with endless parties, flamboyant fashion, big rockin’ sounds, eclectic music and drugs.
Experience all of that – minus the drugs – when UK’s award-winning Secret Theatre returns this March with The New York Secret. This immersive world-class theatre experience will run from Mar 1 to 30 at an exclusive members-only secret location in Chinatown.
Co-produced by event production company DesignScene, it is part of the Secret Theatre Project led by British theatre director and actor Richard Crawford. who founded it in 2008.
The New York Secret follows Secret Theatre’s sold-out Singapore success of Dusk From Dawn in 2019. Since it is the world’s first and only immersive theatre experience that has taken place in more than 10 cities worldwide, we predict this year’s edition will be a smash hit, too.
With an undisclosed dramatic plot, The New York Secret stars British and American performers Mia Ortega, Samantha Carrie-Smith, Charles Duke, and Alaistair Goldie. It invites thrill seekers and introspective theatre fans to relive the 1980s in an evening filled with disco music and Manhattan-inspired food and drinks. It culminates in unexpected surprises and spellbinding performances, all squeezed into two hours (7pm to 9pm).
