In celebration of World Cucumber Day, Hendrick’s Gin will once again be offering its Cucumber Currency Exchange, where thirsty imbibers can exchange a cucumber for a refreshing cocktail.
Be quick, because the offer only lasts from Jun 10 to 13 at over 100 bars in Singapore, including Tipsy Tavern, Stay Gold Flamingo and Lecoq.
Just present a cucumber (yes, the actual green fruit) at any of the participating bars during “Cucumber Hours” from 5.30pm to midnight, and trade it for one of the gin maker’s most refreshing serves – Hendrick’s & Tonic, while stocks last.
Choose between the original Hendrick’s Gin and the limited-release Hendrick’s Flora Adora or Hendrick’s Neptunia as the base of your cocktail.
Why cucumber, you ask? Hendrick’s Gin is made with infusions of cucumber and rose petals, alongside a blend of 11 botanicals. As for Hendrick’s Flora Adora, the newest limited-edition release from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities has a fresh floral dimension, while Hendrick’s Neptunia takes inspiration from the sea with a blend of Scottish coastal botanicals.
If you are looking for valuable cucumber currency, keep your eyes peeled for an impeccably dressed team of cucumber connoisseurs. They will roam Singapore’s iconic bar districts such as Raffles Green, Downtown Marina and Tanjong Pagar from 11am to 1pm on the aforementioned days.
