Johnnie Walker has just turned apres-ski, a catch-all French phrase referring to all the post-ski socialising, drinking and merrymaking your tired legs can endure, into a bottle of whisky with the limited-edition Blue Label Ice Chalet.
Created by the brand’s master blender Emma Walker, the Scotch whisky offers a nose of sweet, creamy vanilla with spiced apples and plums that gives way to berries, gentle smoke and rich orchard fruits.
The exclusive pour seeks to evoke the vast Alpine landscape and especially “Blue Hour” – the magical moment between day and night that sends skiers scurrying from the slopes and back into ski chalets for warmth and convivial cheer.
The brand’s muse is reflected once again in the Blue Label Ice Chalet’s bottle and accompanying bottle bag, both specially designed by luxury ski wear and lifestyle brand Perfect Moment.
The latter doubles up as a style-forward, reversible crossbody bag, not only reflecting the partnership that made this collaboration possible, but also serving as a complement to the UK-based brand’s newly launched Ice Chalet capsule ski wear collection. Coordinating designs are available for both men and women.
The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet has already been launched globally by brand ambassador, Perfect Moment shareholder and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, though it will also see a special launch event just for Singapore.
On Nov 15, the bottle will take centre stage at a launch party staged on a (proverbial) peak of our own – Highhouse and Nova, both sky-high lifestyle destinations perched on the top of the 63-storey One Raffles Place. It will be available for purchase from the same day at the recommended retail price of $460 at asher.sg as well as other leading retailers. It is inclusive of the crossbody bag by Perfect Moment.
