The world’s first NFT integrated digital art championship arrives in Singapore for its Regional Finals

Quietly growing over the years, Singapore’s local digital arts scene is set to witness a groundbreaking moment come January 2022. LIMITS Asian Championship 2022, the world’s first NFT integrated digital art battle championship, will be holding its Regional Finals in Singapore – a first of its kind to take place on our island.

Singapore’s first IRL Pop Culture NFT event, the showdown models an esports arena where artists will battle it out in front of spectators to present their artistic styles and creative storytelling on drawing tablets within a 20-minute limit.

Organised by P.A.I.N.T Inc., the search for Singaporean talents are now open. Artists may enter the LIMITS digital arts metaverse and enter themselves as competitors via the official website.

At the forefront of this current era, digital art creations from the event will also be minted into NFTs, which would bridge the gap between artists and ownership – an ongoing debate in recent years. These NFTs will be sold on UCOLLEX, an NFT platform for creators.

The Singapore Regional Finals will take place on 21 Jan 2022.
