Nothing can recreate the energy and vibe of a live concert. Music lovers will be able to finally attend one (or four) at “Pop Rock Evenings” organised by CK Star Entertainment on Dec 17 and 18.
These live gigs are part of the This is Live! Concert Series, which previously held two-night “Mandopop Evenings” 华语 流行乐之夜 in November. Held in collaboration with Friends of the Gardens, Gardens by the Bay at the Flower Field Hall, ‘Pop Rock Evenings’ are made up of four 90-minute shows headlined by Singapore’s immensely talented bands—SuperSonic and Shirlyn + The UnXpected—both popular fixtures in the local nightlife scene.

Each band will play two 90-minute concerts at 6pm and 9pm. SuperSonic, Timbre’s former resident band, will play on Dec 17. Listen to Pop Band Favourites at 6pm and belt out (with mask on, of course) to songs like “Secret Love Song” by Little Mix to “Counting Stars” by One Republic. Then stay on for festive heartwarmers at the To Christmas, With Love concert.

The next day, enjoy songs from Adele, Lady Gaga and more at Women in Music by Shirlyn + The UnXpected. If you want to rock out, go for the Rock Acoustic show at 9pm where you’ll hear songs by Mr Big, Guns N Roses, Queen, Oasis, Keane and Pink Floyd. Tickets start from $58 and are on sale now.
