It’s time to get into the festive Chinese New Year moo-d. (Yup, the puns are just gonna keep on coming, so hang on to your horns…)
One way to do that is to visit Moo Moo Park, Asia’s first drive-through art exhibition, happening from Jan 22-Mar 28.
Organised by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) in partnership with The MeshMinds Foundation, look forward to a multi-sensory experience at the SCCC carpark which has been transformed into an immersive, interactive exhibition space.

Hop into an electric car and learn about the ox’s cultural significance through the innovative use of visual arts and augmented reality (AR) technology.
Embark on an audio-guided journey around the visually captivating art and installations made by the eight local artists. Almostasthma, Andre Wee, ANTZ, Danielle Tay, Howie Kim, Mithra, Puffingmuffin and Tobyato will present original works whereby they interpret elements of Chinese culture and transform their digital drawings into 3D installation art, selfie filters and augmented reality murals powered by Spark AR from Facebook.
It’s a fun and safe environment to experience the exhibition. (Alternatively, you may also choose to experience it by foot.)
Besides spotlighting this major celebration of Chinese culture, Moo Moo Park also highlights the importance of sustainability. Each artist will address one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, with a special focus on topics such as air pollution, the future of sustainable mobility, as well as the endangered habitat of the gaur, a type of wild ox native to Southeast Asia.
So enjoy a meaningful outing with your loved ones and come away with unique memories and Insta-worthy moments at this never-before-seen exhibition in a carpark.
Moo Moo Park runs from Jan 22-Mar 28 2021. Visitors can book their tickets ($5 for a walk-through experience, and $10 for a drive-through experience) on SISTIC. More information available here.
