Live music is back for two nights only in December

Virtual events and live streams are all well and good but nothing can replace the energy and vibe when you are watching a performance in person.

Now you’ll have the rare opportunity to attend the largest live music event since circuit breaker, with ‘Back to Live’ concerts on Dec 18 and 19 at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.

For two nights only, watch local stars Benjamin Kheng, Sezairi, and Charlie Lim, as well as special guests Narelle, TheLionCityBoy, Linying, Keyana and Aisyah Aziz, perform live on stage.

Benjamin Kheng

Yes, it’s time to put on your best gig outfit and head out for some live entertainment.

Friday night will see Benjamin Kheng from The Sam Willows hit the stage with fellow artist Sezairi, winner of season three of Singapore Idol. Narelle, Benjamin’s sister who also made her debut with The Sam Willows, will make a special guest appearance.

Other guest appearances on Friday include homegrown rapper, producer, and songwriter TheLionCityBoy, and Linying who was recently named one of Spotify Asia’s 25 Most Influential Artists Under 25.

Singer-songwriter Charlie Lim will perform a solo acoustic set on Saturday night, followed by a quartet with Chok Kerong, Soh Wen Ming and Euntaek Kim, before culminating in a finale with The Mothership band.

Additionally, rising music star Keyana along with songstress Aisyah Aziz will make a special appearance on the night.

Note that there are only 500 tickets available and all ticket holders will need a valid negative Antigen Rapid Test (ART) or PCR result for entry. As usual, you will be required to comply with all the safe management measures in place at the concert. Testing will be provided free of charge.

Organised by AEG Presents and Collective Minds, the live concerts are part of the Ministry of Health’s pilot for pre-event testing which is intended to enable large-scale events to take place in a safe manner by reducing the risk of a COVID-positive case being present at an event.

Tickets are priced at $55 for each show or $98 for both (excluding ticketing fee). More information available here.
