It’s that time of the year again, when Esplanade brings back its beloved, annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.
Offering both online and physical performances, Moonfest 2021 will showcase on-site live performances from Sep 17-19, and virtual programmes till Oct 3.
Shedding light on the traditional Chinese arts in Singapore, audiences can look forward to new operatic pieces, Chinese dance productions and screenings of charming puppet shows.
There will also be Moon Quest, a series of puzzles that takes audiences on a self-guided tour to explore the various sights and sounds of Esplanade.
Those who’ve always wanted to design their own shadow puppets can do so at the Parent-Child Workshop: DIY Shadow Play Box conducted by collide.o.scope (Singapore).
Finally, don’t forget to mark your calendars for Laugh Out Loud: A Crosstalk Showcase on Sep 19, which will get you laughing and appreciating the ways of Chinese language.
