Update: Due to popular demand, the show has been extended for another two weeks and will run until Jan 16 (instead of Jan 2). Dates have been changed accordingly.
Earlier in the year, you might remember there was an interactive live performance called Murder At Mandai Camp. Well, turns out there’s more to the case, and you are now invited to put on your investigator’s cap once again and join the returning cast to help solve the mystery.
An immersive, experiential and interactive experience
Presented by Sight Lines Entertainment, and award-winning director and playwright Chong Tze Chien, Murder At Mandai Camp: The Case Reopens differs in format from the first, which was an interactive live performance that took place on Zoom for three nights only.

This spine-chilling online adventure will instead stream for 90 minutes on-demand between 8pm and 4am daily, from Dec 22, 2020 to Jan 16, 2021. Once you buy your ticket and receive the link, you can log on anytime within the period stated above to start your adventure.
Whodunnit?
This “reopened case” is Asia’s first virtual horror-mystery escape room with live-action gameplay. You’ll join Benjamin Kheng (vocalist of The Sam Willows and Fly Entertainment Artiste) as the key CID officer who reopens the unsolved murder case of young recruit Ilhan Rozells (Irsyad Dawood).
The story picks up immediately after the initial investigation and the series of unfortunate events that plagued prime suspect recruit Tan Chee Meng (Bright Ong), former-lieutenant Haziq (Erwin Shah Ismail) and the unassuming Captain Ronald (Ronald Goh).
Your role is to gather all the key evidence and identify the true culprit of the murder. You’ll interact with evidence such as physical clues, video footages and flashbacks—presented in 360-degree format with immersive Spatial Audio surround sound technology—within the investigator’s office.
Using Zoom and Telegram, the sequel pushes the boundaries of theatre in the digital realm with choose-your-own-adventure mechanics. There are no rewinds, and no two viewings/playthroughs will be the same.
Need help to solve the mystery? Order the two themed bottled cocktails—The Scent of Plumeria and Pisang Noir—created in collaboration with local cocktail institution Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall. The cocktails, available for pre-order and purchase on its webstore, will come with an exclusive clue to solve the mystery.
But that’s not all. All audience members who have collected key evidence and apprehended the correct culprit will stand to win $1,000 in a mystery draw.
Murder At Mandai Camp: The Case Reopens takes place from Dec 22, 2020-Jan 16, 2021. Tickets ($20 each) are available from Nov 23, 2020-Jan 16, 2021, from Sistic.
