Watch: Orchestral Manoeuvres at ArtScience Museum invites you to tune in to a very different kind of exhibition

Sound is all around us. But listen (and watch) closely—how do we actually perceive sound? How does it influence our lives, connect with the world, or even inspire us to create our music?

Exploring the different ways of seeing and experiencing sound is ArtScience Museum’s exhibition, Orchestral Manoeuvres: See Sound. Feel Sound. Be Sound. The exhibition brings together 32 composers and contemporary artists from across the world where visitors are invited to “tune in, listen deeply, feel the vibrations and create your personal soundtrack”.

There are nine different galleries in the exhibition, among which are early sound art projects, different types of music scores and noise-making sculptures. Some artists in the exhibition explore silence. You can also get involved and try your hand at making your own compositions. Want to know more? Check out the video below for a preview of this exhibition.

Orchestral Manoeuvres: See Sound. Feel Sound. Be Sound is at ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands. Open daily from now till Jan 2, 2022, 10am–7pm.
