SFS Talkies: When the Rooster Crows

This documentary features four filmmakers who seek change; Brillante Mendoza from the Philippines, Eric Khoo from Singapore, Pen-Ek Ratanaruang from Thailand and Garin Nugroho from Indonesia. The film shines the spotlight on key events and issues in the region, including censorhsip in Singapore, corruption in Indonesia and the political unrest in Thailand. 

5th SINGAPORE LIEDER FESTIVAL: SONGS FROM HOME

This year’s festival celebrates SG50. There will be a series of three recitals dedicated to the works of local composers. The line-up of songs includes work from  the late Leong Yoon Pin, Cultural Medallion recipent Dr Kelly Tang, Dr Zechariah Goh and many more

8th International A Cappella Festival 2015

The annual month-long International A Capella Festival is here. Many of these showcases will be performed by over 100 local and foreign singers such as JAcappella (Singapore), JARNZ (Japan), Vocal Six (Sweden) and more. It’s time for aca-mazing music!
