TAS Concert Series: Ensemble Nobiles

Formed in 2006, German quintet Ensemble Nobiles will be performing in Singapore to showcase their huge repertoire spanning Renaissance to modern age music. Expect to hear well-known works of German romantic composers, including Mendelssohn, Schubert and Schumann.

BE:FORMATIVE

Zouk’s resident DJ, Formative, has taken over dancefloors all around the world, from Korea to Brazil and Ibiza. On this night, he will play everything from house to electro to progressive and even trap music.

Oddlings by Allison M. Low

This local fine art graduate who has exhibited both locally and in Sydney, will be having her debut solo exhibition at The Substation. Her striking pieces of work often revolve around heavier themes like emotional trauma and loneliness.

Dead Celebrities

Kult Gallery has rounded up some 20 artists who hail from Philippines, France, Indonesia, the UK and Singapore for this exhibition. They were invited to created something based on iconic celebrities who are now dead (as suggested by the name of this exhibition) and it will be presented in both painting and sculptural forms.

Home Store-ies

This 2-week solo exhibition by Singaporean photographer Zinkie Aw will feature pictures of Singaporean storerooms, a place we tend to keep out of sight at home. 

Nostalgia in Transformation

Award-winning watercolorist Ong Kim Seng will be presenting his oversized watercolor works at this solo exhibition. Look out for his “Old and New Singapore All in One” masterpiece, inspired by his personal memories of growing up in Singapore.
