This week at I-S HQ: Beer, burgers, wings and… 24-hour gyms

This week, we…

Lunched at Boathouse to sample their one-day-only Valentine’s Day menu—it’s romantic but doesn’t scream “commitment”.

Drank till we dropped at Smith Street Taps‘ official opening.

Had a good chat with Dennis Tay of Naiise and Bjorn Low at the NONG. If you haven’t been yet, go! It’s amazing.

Stuffed ourselves silly at junk food joint BWB (Burgers VS. Wings + Bar).

Lohei-ed for the nth time at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, and ending up booking appointments at the amazingly tropical CHI, The Spa.

Got a caffeine high at Nikon’s latte art (!) event at Oriole.

Checked out the latest on SG50. We’re excited but can’t tell you anything about it because the organizers are keeping details under wraps!

Wined and dined at swank Keong Saik spot Vida Vino. Great place to go if you’re just getting into wines—the list is top notch yet unintimidating.

Caught up with co-curators Bani Haykal and Joleen Loh of sonic art exhibition SOUND at Lasalle.

Enjoyed a quick Dempsey escapade and tried out new items on The Disgruntled Chef‘s menu.

Nosed around at Anytime Fitness‘ first outlet. About time we got ourselves some 24-hour gyms!

Got our nails done at Alessandro‘s pop-up nail bar at Sephora ION and launch of the brand’s peel-off polish line, Striplac.

Started Friday night early with Ding Dong‘s new cocktails. They don’t just do pan-Asian drinks—their rendition of the old school classic Seelbach is soooo good.
