There’s a new place to see and be seen at Marina Bay Sands.

Bacha Coffee, known for its 100 percent Arabica coffee, has just opened up a new branch at Marina Bay Sands named Bacha Coffee Fashion Avenue. This new destination will bring each guest on a journey through the senses, with a coffee room, takeaway experience and a boutique, all within the 300-square-metre space.

A V3 Gourmet brand, Bacha Coffee was founded in 1910 and named after Dar el Bacha palace in Marrakech, a place where many celebrated cultural and political minds of the century gathered over pots of freshly brewed Arabica coffee. Now it’s your turn.

Here are three reasons why you should check out Bacha Coffee’s newest branch:

The coffee room
Talk about an Insta-worthy coffeeshop. The coffee room at Bacha Coffee Fashion Avenue features inlaid black and white chequered tiles on the floors, white-and-gold latticework, and the colourful caftans, all of which is reminiscent of its original location from Marrakech.

The takeaway experience
On the go but still want to enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack? Choose between over 200 coffees either hot or iced, and 10 varieties of sweet and savoury croissants, like the Blueberry & Lavender Croissant (available until Sep) or the Bacha Coffee Tiramisu.

Alongside coffee, guests can buy gifts either for their friends, loved ones, or themselves. The full range is here, including packed coffee and beans from countries like Ethiopia, Ecuador and Papua New Guinea; brewing accessories; and coffee-making accoutrements.

 Food to enjoy
After shopping, take a moment to unwind in the 54-seater coffee room where there are sweet and savoury bites to enjoy. Choose from free-range egg dishes, French toast sandwiches, gourmet savoury croissants, and if you’re in the mood for some Moroccan food, check out The Vegetable, a vegetarian dish that brings together butternut and sweet pumpkin with courgettes, aubergines, and baby potatoes with Marrakech spices.

Those who crave meatier foods can order with The Palais set that includes a French toast sandwich with steak and caramelised onions, and a choice of two croissants, two slices of coffee cake or one pastry.
