Seafood lovers, here’s a new dining experience you don’t want to miss. Restaurant chain Jumbo Group has opened Mutiara Seafood in Geylang Serai, a176-seater halal-certified restaurant that serves Singaporean-style seafood dishes alongside a selection of grilled specialties.
This is the first halal-certified brand for Jumbo Group, and with 36 years of culinary expertise under its belt, more diners can now enjoy its seafood signatures. Available at the restaurant are perennial favourites such as Signature Chilli Crab, Mee Goreng, and Crispy Fried Baby Squid.
Fans of crab can enjoy three different types of crab available – the Alaskan crab, Mud crab, and Dungeness crab. Each of these crabs can be cooked in four various ways: signature chilli, black pepper, stir-fried with golden salted egg, or steamed with egg white.
Mutiara Seafood also brings along its newest grilled dishes to the restaurant. Feast on Indonesian Grilled Chicken, Gripped Red Tilapia Fish with Sambal, or the Jimbaran Grilled Prawns, which are exclusive only to this restaurant.
If you still want to try out the restaurant but are not a fan of traditional seafood and grilled foods, don’t fret. Dishes like the Chili Crab Meat Sauce with Sliced Mantou, Mocha Fried Chicken, and Scallop Wrapped in Yam Ring are available, offering audiences international dishes with a creative twist on classic dishes.
To end your dining experience on a refreshing note, try some fruity coolers that will go well with the rich and spicy dishes.
